A stunning oak roll top desk from our antique furniture collection.
This is an excellent example of classic Edwardian office furniture.
The beautifully figured desk has a large S-shaped tambour front, which easily opens to reveal a number of compartments suitable for stationery and pens.
The desk has a twin pedestal base, with panelled sides and a number of drawers on each side.
This oak roll top desk is in lovely condition for its age, and still has its original key. However, as it is over 100 years old, there may be some slight marks and signs of wear and tear.
Due to the size of computer screens, these desks fell out of favour in the 1980s. However, since the advent of laptops and tablets, the desks have come back into fashion.
An impressive and substantial piece of furniture, which would be a great focal point for any period home interior.
The desk breaks down into four sections for ease of transportation.
