A truly magnificent piece of late Victorian pine furniture. This victorian french farmhouse pine table came from a large chateau kitchen, and has been in this country for approximately 20 years, where it has been used on a daily basis. The item was sold to us due to the family downsizing. It features a traditional planked top design, and a plain and simple refectory style base. It also features three large drawers which are situated on either side and to one end. The end drawer is a replacement drawer, but has been made in exactly the same style and size as the original drawers. This piece contains lots of charm and character; from the timber work to the top, to the legs on the base. As you can appreciate, this Victorian french farmhouse pine table has been used on a daily basis, and there has been a small amount of repair work to the cross stretchers. This is to be expected from a table of this age. We have a large selection of photographs to show all of the drawers, legs and top in detail. We are displaying this with one of our sets of antique chapel chairs which are not supplied with this table, but can be purchased separately. You are quite welcome to come and view this table before purchasing. Please let us know if you would like to do this, as some of our items are stored in our overflow warehouse and will need to be collected.

A highly desirable piece of classic Edwardian furniture, this large Edwardian wardrobe has an out swept cornice with dental mould design. This sits upon a three door wardrobe, with centre door being a mirror. The left hand side features a large amount of storage space, and the right hand side has some shelves and drawers in varying sizes, making this an extremely useful piece of furniture; ideal for complementing any period setting. ART NOUVEAU WARDROBE IN RED WALNUT
Art nouveau wardrobe
A beautiful circa 1900 art nouveau wardrobe in red walnut. Featuring an out swept cornice with decorative dental mould design to top, this wardrobe also features a large bevel edged mirror to centre which is flanked by two decoratively carved opening doors. This reveals a large expanse of hanging space to the left and right hand sides, with recently fitted substantial clothes rails. There is also an additional small rail fitted to the left hand side for smaller garments. The whole wardrobe stands upon a shaped plinth base, and breaks down into five individual pieces for ease of transportation and reassembly. The item is in excellent condition for its age, with very little signs of wear and tear. This art nouveau wardrobe is still fitted with its original handles; an unusual piece of furniture as it is completely made up of hanging space.

A classic piece of English solid oak furniture from the Late Victorian period. This lovely leaded and glazed arts and crafts oak bookcase features two large opening doors to top, revealing three fully adjustable internal shelves. This bookcase has a small cupboard below, stands upon a plinth base, and is in a beautiful warm chestnut colour. The item is in lovely condition for its age; circa 1890, and we believe that it has recently been re-polished. As you can appreciate, this arts and crafts oak bookcase is over one hundred years old, and so, will have minor blemishes and signs of wear and tear due to its age. Sadly, we do not have the keys for the locks.

A magnificent piece of classic English Victorian furniture. This beautiful mid Victorian wind out or extending dining table features a single leaf. The table in its un-extended position is completely round so can conveniently seat up to four people. With its single leaf added, this table allows for two extra seating positions. The table has recently been re-polished to a very high standard which brings out the magnificent figuring of the timber. With its unique size, this Victorian mahogany extending dining table is ideal for any small cottage, dining room or similar. It stands upon four turned and reeded legs, which are fitted with their original brass and porcelain cup castors. This table extends with an original winding handle (also provided).
