LATE VICTORIAN MAHOGANY THREE PIECE SUITE

A fantastic example of quality English craftsmanship. This suite comprises of two matching armchairs, and a two seater sofa. With their carved top rails, and slender cabriole legs, both armchairs and sofa are in outstanding condition with no loose joints or woodworm, and all polish work in excellent order. These pieces are covered in a matching green velour material, which is excellent condition. If the material is not to your liking, this can be easily changed as all of the webbing, springs and stuffing to these items are in superb condition, so it would not be a difficult or expansive task. This suite is ideal for any period room setting.

LATE VICTORIAN SOLID OAK BOOKCASE/DRESSER

A magnificent and extremely good quality, late Victorian sold oak dresser; circa 1900. Featuring glazed centre doors with internal adjustable shelves; this is flanked by two blind doors with raised and fielded panels to front. Right hand cupboard has adjustable shelves, whereas the left hand cupboard has fixed shelves. This sits upon a four drawer base, with four matching cupboards. Outside cupboards are fitted with shelves which can take wine bottles and can be used as a convenient drinks cabinet. Centre cupboard has shelved interior and is deep enough to take foolscap files. This item can be used in any large home office, or alternatively, in a large country kitchen. The item is of superb quality; all components are made of solid oak, and this piece still retains all of its original brass handles and door furniture.

An attractive pair of late Victorian Walnut armchairs, with a decoratively carved top rail, and upholstered in a striking yellow material. SOLID OAK ARTS & CRAFTS DOUBLE BED

A superb quality, circa 1900, arts & crafts influenced double bed. With its decoratively carved headboard, with slatted design, centre slat featuring a traditional tulip design. This is a mirror image of the footboard. The bed comes complete with a traditional sprung base, so all that is required is a standard double mattress. As you can see by the measurements listed, the headboard is quite tall, making this an impressive piece of furniture for any period property. The item is in overall good condition, and still retains its original castors to base. You must appreciate that it does have some slight marks and wear and tear due to its age. The bed breaks down into individual pieces for ease of transportation and reassembly.

SOLID OAK LATE VICTORIAN ROLL TOP DESK

A magnificent quality roll top desk, featuring a traditional tambour top which opens up to display a fitted interior with numerous compartments. These compartments have sliding doors with fitted name plates, and feature two centre pull out pen holders, and four further drawers. This sits upon a traditional twin pedestal base, with graduated pull out drawers and oak slides. The desk is in outstanding condition for its age circa 1900, and still retains two original keys, and original waste paper bin which is designed to feature at the back of the foot well. The waste paper bin does have some wear and tear which is to be expected. This desk features matching panels to all sides, and the traditional modesty board to rear. The desk will dismantle for ease of transportation and reassembly, and all locking mechanisms work to drawers and tambour front. Please note, the lap top and desk chair featured are not included.

Victorian mahogany wardrobe.

A good example of quality late Victorian/early Edwardian Mahogany furniture. This wardrobe features an out swept cornice, sitting on central section, with large mirrored door, single cupboard, and three graduated drawers which are positioned above a large deep and useful drawer standing on a plinth base. This Victorian mahogany wardrobe is in lovely condition for its age, featuring quality brass handles and door furniture. A lovely stand alone piece, or to match up with an existing suite. It can be easily taken apart as it comes in three sections for ease of transportation and reassembly. We have photographed a small piece of damage to the back of the wardrobe, which is about four inches long, but damage like this is to be expected from pieces of this age. This Victorian mahogany wardrobe is in good condition and ready to use.
